Job Summary

The Dual Enrollment Coordinator is a key member of the Admissions and Records team at Tallahassee Community College. Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive dual enrollment calendar, ensuring timely recruitment, enrollment, retention, and reporting processes.
    • Collaborate with Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Advising to establish and implement effective dual enrollment programs.
  • Student Support and Services
    • Provide guidance and support to high school students, ensuring a smooth transition to post-secondary education.
    • Facilitate communication between high school personnel, students, and college staff to ensure a cohesive dual enrollment experience.
  • Program Evaluation and Reporting
    • Collect, code, and disseminate data on dual enrollment student enrollment, retention, and completion rates.
    • Develop and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and institutional regulations.
  • Community Outreach and Partnerships
    • Establish and maintain relationships with local high schools, fostering partnerships to promote dual enrollment opportunities.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase dual enrollment participation and retention rates.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
    • Three years of experience in dual enrollment or a related field, with a minimum of one year in a dual enrollment program.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with diverse stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of student development theory and ability to develop student programming.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience working in a community college or higher education setting.
  • Knowledge of TCC degrees, programs, and services.
