Dual Enrollment Coordinator Position

The Dual Enrollment Coordinator is a key role within the Admissions and Records department at Tallahassee Community College. This position is responsible for coordinating and implementing dual enrollment programs, ensuring seamless transitions from high school to postsecondary matriculation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement yearly dual enrollment calendars and timelines for recruitment, enrollment, retention, and reporting.
- Assist with the administration of Career and Technical Education (CTE) and dual enrollment programs in accordance with administrative policies and procedures.
- Coordinate partnerships between the College and high schools, ensuring effective relations and seamless transitions.
- Develop and maintain effective relations with high school personnel, facilitating student career pathway files and enrollment status updates.
- Work with Academic Affairs to develop and implement comprehensive plans for providing CTE and dual enrollment classes/programs, services, and site-specific maps throughout the communities serviced by the college.
- Facilitate and supervise various aspects of the enrollment process for dual credit, career dual credit, and career pathways programs.
- Collect, code, and disseminate class rosters for registration of dual enrollment students each semester, and initiate drop/add/withdrawal procedures for students.
- Responsible for assisting with generating reports that indicate headcount and FTE produced each semester, estimates of costs to the institution, comparisons of enrollments and outcomes in various courses at various schools.
- Support the Office of Admissions and Records in securing outstanding grades, incompletes, or missing grades for specific students.
- Assist with the coordination of placement testing process in partner schools or at TCC.
- Establish and maintain a database of DE participants who enroll in college after high school graduation for reporting on enrollment, retention, and completion.
- Maintain records in accordance with state, federal, and institutional regulations, and provide accurate data for submission of state and federal reports dealing with dual credit programs.
- Coordinates special events and activities for dual credit programs on the TCC campus such as campus tours, arena registration, and new student orientation.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of related experience (five years preferred), of which one year of the required experience must have involved working in a dual enrollment program.
- Strong commitment to the mission of the community college.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the dual enrollment and community outreach functional areas and the administration of such functions.
- Ability to effectively supervise and motivate personnel.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the planning, implementation, and monitoring of budgets in an educational environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the rules, regulations, and principles of the FLDOE, as well as other state and federal laws and regulations regarding financial aid.
- Demonstrated excellent supervisory, administrative, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with students, college employees, and the public.
- Demonstrated organizational skills in handling and directing multiple and complex assignments and projects.
- Skill in working effectively in a team environment with a customer service focus.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
