Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Freudenberg. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for leading our financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance to our management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the VP Finance & Controlling NET & SEMA on a wide range of topics and initiatives, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Manage international projects in the finance & controlling area, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Prepare presentations and business cases to support management's decision-making, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Perform (ad-hoc) analysis, financial projections, investment prioritization, and reporting to drive a fact-based financial decision-making process.
- Perform recurring tasks such as interpretation of NET & SEMA results, including the consolidation of comments from local entities and sales areas.
- Manage the monthly information process regarding the financial performance to the NET & SEMA management team.
- Develop, establish, and professionalize standard reports in cooperation with the Center of Scale and Corporate Controlling.
- Actively manage the yearly budget process for Business Area NET & SEMA.
- Act as an interface to the Center of Scale in Romania and India and support the organizational setup of analytics teams.
- Act as an interface and single point of contact for the regional finance teams across the NET & SEMA region, IT, and Process Management.
Requirements
- Succesfully completed business studies with a focus on Finance and/or Controlling.
- Relevant professional experience of > 2 years ideally in complex, international matrix structures.
- Very good SAP knowledge (SAP S4, SAP ByD, SAP Cloud), knowledge of Hyperion preferred.
- Outstanding knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in Business English and German.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a sound business acumen.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive approach and solution-oriented thinking and acting.
- Ideally basic project management.
- Strong capability to translate analysis into digestible output for management, and to communicate effectively across the organization.
- High level of social competence in an international environment and ability and passion to work in a team.
