About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Group Accounting to join our team at EagleBurgmann. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for the technical management of the Group Accounting & Consolidation division.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical management of the Group Accounting & Consolidation division, ensuring compliance with IFRS accounting standards.
- Processing of complex IFRS accounting issues and providing expert guidance to divisional management and decentralized finance teams.
- Independent consolidation of quarterly and annual financial statements of EagleBurgmann subsidiaries.
- Preparation of financial statements and subgroup reporting in accordance with IFRS for the EagleBurgmann subgroup.
- Collaboration with finance teams of international subsidiaries and the corporate accounting team of the Freudenberg parent company.
- Participation in audit planning and direct contact with auditors of the EagleBurgmann subgroup.
Requirements
- Completed studies in economics, business informatics, industrial engineering, or training as a bachelor of professional accounting.
- Several years of specialist professional experience in group accounting, consolidation, or related areas, preferably in an international production-oriented company.
- Expert knowledge of consolidation methods and processes.
- Very good knowledge of consolidation software, preferably Hyperion Financial Management.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Fluent written and spoken German and English.
