Position Overview

Avance Consulting is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst who possesses a wealth of experience in information technology. This role is pivotal in collaborating with the Product Owner to prioritize tasks, elucidate requirements, and oversee project planning and tracking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage actively in workshops (both business and IT) aimed at defining requirements and project scope.
  • Conduct thorough walkthroughs to ensure documentation is finalized with appropriate sign-offs.
  • Experience in the investment banking sector is advantageous.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proactively take initiative without needing constant guidance.
  • Document the current state of systems or processes related to the project.
  • Perform detailed analysis to refine business requirements, fostering effective collaboration with system Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Participate in testing phases to ensure systems meet business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Create necessary documentation, such as system documents, as required.
  • Assist the Project Manager in fulfilling Non-Functional Requirements (NFR).
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business strategy.
  • Possess a solid grasp of Agile methodologies, including writing detailed Jira stories.
  • Utilize various analytical tools, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio, to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and associated software like Jira and Confluence.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities with effective people management and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage time efficiently and effectively.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
