Position Overview

Avance Consulting is in search of a seasoned and proficient Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves collaborating closely with the Product Owner to prioritize tasks, elucidate requirements, and oversee project planning and tracking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in comprehensive gap analysis and coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Facilitate and contribute to workshops aimed at defining requirements and project scope.
  • Conduct thorough walkthroughs to secure necessary approvals and finalize documentation.
  • Possess a solid understanding of the investment banking sector.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Demonstrate initiative and independence in task execution.
  • Document the current state of systems or processes related to the project.
  • Perform detailed analysis to refine business requirements, fostering effective relationships with system Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Participate in testing phases to ensure systems are rigorously evaluated against business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Create relevant documentation, such as system documents, as required.
  • Assist the Project Manager in fulfilling Non-Functional Requirements (NFR).
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business strategy.
  • Possess a good grasp of Agile methodologies, including writing detailed Jira stories.
  • Utilize various analytical tools, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio, to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Understand Agile, Scrum, and associated software like Jira and Confluence.
  • Exhibit strong leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate effective time management abilities.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
