IT Business Systems Analyst

Job Overview:
As a Business Technology Analyst at IndusEuro Consulting Services GmbH, you will work closely with our clients in the capital markets sector to analyze business needs, define technical requirements, and guide the implementation of complex business systems. Your role will involve writing comprehensive requirement documents, functional specifications, and UML diagrams. Experience with exchanges like NSE, BSE, LSE, Deutsche Boerse and familiarity with the trade life cycle, market risk management, and large-scale data analysis are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for complex business systems including trading and risk management systems.
- Create detailed functional specifications, requirement documents, and UML diagrams to guide the development and enhancement of business systems.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of requirements and system functionality.
- Provide expertise in market risk management, ensuring business solutions align with risk monitoring, reporting, and mitigation requirements.
- Manage and support large-scale business systems, including trading platforms and risk management systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet business needs.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend enhancements to existing systems and processes.
- Provide training and support to users, ensuring they understand system functionalities and can utilize them effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, MBA will be a huge plus
- Significant experience as a Business Technology Analyst within the capital markets industry.
- Strong knowledge of the trade life cycle, market risk management, and stock market operations.
- Proven experience working with exchanges like NSE, BSE, or similar stock markets.
- Expertise in writing requirement documents, functional specifications, and creating UML diagrams.
- Proficiency in data analysis with experience handling large datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex business systems, including trading and risk management systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
