Position Overview:
We are seeking a committed working student to support our Maintenance Engineering division, specifically concentrating on Internet of Things (IoT) data analytics and visualization.

Key Responsibilities:
As a working student, you will have the chance to apply your academic knowledge in a practical setting, gaining valuable insights into the integration of technology within the IoT landscape. Your role will involve:

  • Understanding IoT data structures and communication protocols.
  • Familiarizing yourself with various visualization tools and software.
  • Creating and maintaining dashboards for real-time application monitoring.
  • Conducting analysis and investigations of IoT data.
  • Responding to visualization requirements promptly.
  • Documenting and reporting on your analytical activities, particularly regarding IoT data.
  • Performing quality assurance checks on dashboards.
  • Collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot issues using IoT data.
  • Actively participating in addressing technical challenges and developing solutions.
  • Working closely with our international maintenance engineering team.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Pursuing a degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science, data science, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or production engineering with a focus on Industry 4.0.
  • Proficient in written and spoken German at a minimum of B2 level.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Basic understanding of joining technology is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Interest in joining processes within the automotive sector.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to comprehend complex technical concepts.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, especially in IoT data analysis.
  • Familiarity with data structures and communication protocols in the IoT context.
  • Perseverance and attention to detail in troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Knowledge of Python programming.
  • Basic understanding of data science principles.
  • Experience with Power BI is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
