Role Summary

We are seeking a committed working student to become a part of our Maintenance Engineering division, focusing on Internet of Things (IoT) data analysis and visualization techniques.

Key Responsibilities

As a working student, you will:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of IoT data frameworks and communication protocols.
  • Gain proficiency in visualization tools and software.
  • Create and manage dashboards for real-time application monitoring.
  • Analyze and interpret IoT data effectively.
  • Respond promptly to visualization requirements.
  • Document and report on activities, particularly in IoT data analysis.
  • Conduct quality assessments for dashboards.
  • Collaborate with engineers to perform error analyses using IoT data.
  • Engage actively in addressing technical challenges and devising solutions.
  • Work closely with our international maintenance engineering team.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science, data science, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or production engineering with a focus on Industry 4.0.
  • Proficient in written and spoken German (minimum level B2).
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of joining technology is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Interest in joining processes within the automotive sector.
  • Strong technical comprehension and ability to understand complex technical relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities, especially in IoT data analysis.
  • Familiarity with data structures and communication protocols in the IoT context.
  • Perseverance and patience in troubleshooting and refining dashboards.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Basic understanding of data science principles.
  • Experience with Power BI is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
