Lead Data Science Projects in DACH Region

Publicis Sapient seeks a driven and experienced Manager of Data Science to lead innovative projects within the DACH region.

In this role, you will guide small project teams in developing cutting-edge solutions across areas such as customer intelligence, generative AI, language modeling, and personalization. Your expertise in machine learning and cloud technologies will be instrumental in delivering impactful results for our clients.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Ensure successful project delivery by overseeing all stages, from conception to production deployment, while maintaining alignment with client expectations.
  • Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models to address complex business challenges.
  • Establish robust ML engineering workflows that streamline the production deployment process, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique needs and translate them into actionable data science solutions.
  • Develop compelling value propositions and client proposals that showcase the transformative power of data science.

Qualifications:

Skills and Experience:

  • A quantitative educational background in a data science-related field is essential.
  • Extensive experience in data science roles, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
  • Technical proficiency in machine learning algorithms, cloud computing platforms, SQL, and Python programming.
  • Expertise in collaborative development tools and methodologies to ensure seamless teamwork.
  • A history of successfully deploying data science models into production environments.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and analytical skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts.
  • Fluency in both German and English is required.

Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of ML engineering principles and best practices.
  • Contributions to thought leadership within the data science community through publications, presentations, or other initiatives.
