Your Responsibilities
- Drive the digital product portfolio and formulate innovative strategies for the Automation Business Unit (BU) in collaboration with the Innovation Management Team, reporting directly to the Head of BU Automation.
- Assume business accountability for the product and solution offerings, including the rollout of new business models such as Software as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Pay-per-Use.
- Establish, prioritize, and effectively execute the innovation pipeline and portfolio roadmap, focusing on our hardware, consumables, and service solutions.
- Craft the product vision, user specifications, and business models for new initiatives, ensuring timely execution of agile development projects.
- Oversee and coordinate the successful market introduction and revenue generation of new products in close partnership with the product management team.
Your Qualifications
- Possess a degree in natural sciences, software/computer science, or economics, with a preference for knowledge in business administration.
- Demonstrate a track record as a Product Manager or Innovation Manager, particularly in product launches and go-to-market strategies for SaaS and PaaS business models.
- Have substantial experience in business and innovation management, as well as application support, ideally within an international life sciences context.
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of competitive landscapes, service offerings, business models, and customer demographics, alongside significant management experience in leading project teams.
- Showcase an agile mindset, proficiency in developing Minimal Viable Products, and a strong customer-centric approach.
- Possess excellent presentation and communication skills, both internally and externally, complemented by strong business acumen and an understanding of financial metrics.
- Identify as a collaborative team player with leadership capabilities, robust networking skills, and cultural awareness.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential; proficiency in German is a plus.
