Program Overview
The Scalable Capital Graduate Program presents an exceptional opportunity to embark on a career in digital finance. Program Structure

Trading Track Details
The Trading Track within the Scalable Capital Graduate Program offers a distinctive pathway to initiate your career in trading and capital markets, equipping you for a role at our expanding trading desk. This track is designed for young professionals and (post-) graduates with a passion for financial markets and trading methodologies, coupled with a strong inclination towards technology and programming languages.
Throughout the Trading Track, you will acquire comprehensive knowledge about capital markets, market structures (including various trading venues, on-exchange and OTC trading, execution strategies), and the nuances of our trading operations.
Rotation 1: Wealth Management
You will assist the Wealth Management team with ongoing research on financial instruments traded by the desk, flows, and trading metrics, while also contributing to the enhancement of in-house trading systems alongside the product, engineering, and trading teams. This includes internal pre- and post-trade evaluations and market monitoring (FX, yields, spreads, etc.).
Learning Outcomes: Gain foundational knowledge and experience in on-exchange ETP trading, financial instruments, and the development of corresponding tools to ensure optimal execution quality.
Rotation 2: Trading
Following your initial exposure to trading within the Wealth Management team, you will join our trading desk, collaborating closely with fellow traders to manage the trading activities of our Wealth Management on a daily basis. You will operate and optimize our trading systems and order parameterization, working alongside our Financial Engineering developers. Continuous market monitoring, instrument oversight, and open order management will be part of your responsibilities, along with the development and application of risk management practices.
Learning Outcomes: Acquire in-depth knowledge of the financial products we trade, their fair value calculations, and enhance your understanding of both on-exchange and OTC trading, including a comprehensive overview of market structures and trading techniques.
Rotation 3: Elective (Operations / Financial Engineering)
Operations / Securities Services
Gain an in-depth understanding of our platform and the execution and processing of millions of client trades annually. Contribute to our growth by analyzing existing processes, identifying potential improvements, and implementing enhancements to increase operational efficiency. Develop expertise in Securities Services, engage in daily activities, and lead interesting projects.
Learning Outcomes: Broaden your knowledge in Securities Services, a specific area of Operations. Understand the importance of end-to-end ownership in a specialized field by developing or refining securities processes, analyzing data, and creating scalable solutions for our dynamic investment platform.
Financial Engineering
You will design fully automated trading algorithms managing substantial assets based on quantitative evidence. Daily challenges will include developing discretionary and B2B wealth allocation models that optimize risk, cost, and tax considerations. You will customize smart rebalancing and cash-flow management strategies across diverse tax regimes in a serverless architecture, and create interactive web dashboards for trade monitoring, historical analysis, and model validation.
Learning Outcomes: Learn to bridge the gap between research and application by productionizing econometric models that autonomously respond to market fluctuations and client demands across numerous individual portfolios. Master best practices in software development and seamlessly integrate production-level software into the R&D environment. Qualifications
Outstanding university degree in a relevant field (finance, science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or related) Enthusiasm for trading, global markets, and technology Understanding of financial products Strong analytical skills, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data for decision-making Detail-oriented, capable of delivering under pressure, and attracted to a fast-paced, volatile environment Experience from internships in banking, proprietary trading, market making, or asset management Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and familiarity with programming languages (preferably SQL and Python). Programming experience is highly advantageous Collaborative team player, contributing to our trading desk Excellent English communication skillsAdditional Information
