About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Major Account Manager to join our team at Palo Alto Networks. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for partnering with our customers to secure their entire digital experience.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles, working closely with internal partners and teams to best serve the customer.
  • Utilize your consultative selling experience to identify business challenges and create solutions for prospects and customers.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry news and trends, and effectively position the portfolio of Palo Alto Networks solutions.
  • Develop a detailed territory plan, creating clear goals and accurate forecasting.
  • Leverage prospect stories to create a compelling value proposition, highlighting insights into value for specific accounts.
  • Collaborate with our ecosystem, executing joint sales campaigns seamlessly.
  • Generate new business through prospecting activities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security industry.
  • Experience selling complex solutions, value selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
  • Technical aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
  • Ability to identify problems, review data, determine root causes, and provide scalable solutions.
  • Cultivate relationships with channel partners to bring a channel-centric go-to-market approach to customers.
  • Experience in generating new business through prospecting activities.
  • Excellent time management skills, with high levels of autonomy and self-direction.
  • Mastery of English and German language, with strong communication and presentation skills.
