Role Overview
An exciting opportunity exists within our EMEIA HR team. As the HR Business Partner for Germany, you will design and execute HR strategies that align with organizational objectives to engage, attract, motivate, and retain top talent while nurturing a high-performance culture. This role requires collaboration with global HR teams and acting as the local HR authority by building and maintaining robust stakeholder relationships and ensuring positive employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Development: Collaborate with retail leadership to assess workforce trends and formulate HR strategies.
- Talent Acquisition and Development: Work with relevant Centers of Excellence on recruitment, onboarding, training, and career progression. Create succession plans.
- Employee Relations and Engagement: Promote a positive workplace culture, address employee issues, and utilize engagement survey insights to devise plans for enhancing employee satisfaction. Develop HR policies and industrial relations strategies that support business goals. Manage HR-related risks.
- Performance Management: Assist managers in performance evaluations, provide support for improvement plans, and foster a culture of ongoing feedback.
- Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with the Reward Center of Excellence to ensure competitive compensation practices.
- Organizational Development: Facilitate change management, advocate for diversity and inclusion, and spearhead initiatives aimed at boosting productivity.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Monitor HR metrics, generate reports and insights as needed, and leverage data to guide decision-making.
- Coaching: Provide support and coaching to line managers on HR matters.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner is essential.
- Experience working effectively with works councils and trade unions is advantageous.
- Expertise in managing employee relations, including conflict resolution.
- Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and HR initiatives.
- Experience in the luxury retail sector is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
- Solid understanding of HR best practices and labor laws.
- Fluency in both German and English is required.
