Role Overview: As an IT Systems Architect, you will spearhead the implementation of cutting-edge IT solutions and foster synergies between diverse application ecosystems within the European Elia Group.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in significant transformation initiatives that necessitate the integration of new IT solutions into the existing application framework.
- Assess business requirements and recommend contemporary IT technologies and solutions.
- Design and define solutions and application architectures in alignment with IT Group strategies and standards.
- Ensure the deployment of best practices.
- Collaborate on defining the IT roadmap and synergy initiatives at the Group level to streamline and optimize the IT landscape.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other IT stakeholders and the internal software development team.
- Oversee all integration aspects related to new application implementations and serve as an expert in relevant committees.
Candidate Profile:
- University degree with a specialization in IT.
- Several years of pertinent experience.
- Expertise in integrating new solutions into existing systems.
- Experience in designing complex IT systems with a broader understanding of application architecture at a functional level.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and SAP.
- Knowledge of GIS, digital & mobile workforce technologies, and modern development practices such as DevOps or Cloud platforms is highly valued.
- Demonstrated autonomous, proactive, and agile working style.
- Language proficiency: English (C1), German (minimum B1), with French or Dutch as a plus.
Additional expertise in software development, integration design patterns, custom application design, and experience in the energy/electricity/utility sector would enhance your application.
