Overview / Role Objective
The Senior Product Strategy Manager - Electronics Low Frequency (m/f/d) is a seasoned professional who exhibits leadership by engaging with clients, field personnel, and development teams to influence strategic revenue goals and the market entry strategy. This individual possesses extensive knowledge of the Electronics Low Frequency product suite and applies business insight to implement frameworks and processes that foster business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Concentrate on market entry initiatives aimed at achieving strategic revenue targets Collaborate closely with clients and distribution partners to assess and prioritize product modifications and enhancements Provide analysis and insights into prevailing market trends and needs, articulating findings in the form of product specifications Take an active role in product planning and design to ensure differentiation from competitors in the marketplace Partner with Development teams to establish realistic development timelines and plans Draft comprehensive product specifications and requirements Collaborate with technical ACE (ANSYS Customer Excellence) teams to gather product feedback and evaluate competitive challenges Maintain strong relationships with clients to stay attuned to their needs and perspectives Assess and prioritize requests for product modifications and enhancements Contribute to the creation of technical white papers, application notes, product positioning presentations, and webinars as part of the market entry strategy Engage and facilitate solutions in any Pre-Sales scenarios as appropriate Serve as a specialist/expert during client visits and technical events as necessary Conduct quality assurance testing and provide feedback on new product features and design processes as needed Deliver training to Customer Excellence and Account Teams as required

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related field with 8 years of combined experience in engineering, computer-aided engineering (CAE) simulations, pre-sales support, sales, or customer engagement; or a master's degree with 6 years of experience; or a PhD with 4 years of experience Proven ability to manage complex projects Comprehensive understanding of the complete end-to-end simulation process from geometry to solution post-processing Awareness of industry trends towards automation and democratization, necessitating workflows that are efficient, precise, and user-friendly Exceptional communication skills, particularly the ability to convey the business value of technical innovations Willingness to travel: up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Advanced degree in business, science, or engineering, with 8+ years of combined experience in engineering, CAE simulations, or technical sales Proficient in the use of low frequency flagship products, or competitive offerings, from the Ansys Electronics Business Unit, including Maxwell and Motor-CAD. Familiarity with ConceptEV and/or Simplorer/TwinBuilder is advantageous Experience in electronics cooling applications and products such as Ansys Icepak Previous experience in a product management capacity
