Logistics Planning Student Role for Compact Cars

Position Overview:

The Logistics Engineering team is pivotal in shaping the future of our operations. We play a crucial role in guiding management decisions, overseeing vehicle projects, and enhancing the digital landscape of our logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the international planning control of the Compact Cars platform across multiple production sites.
  • Manage timelines for evaluating change requests from the overarching project organization, collaborating with logistics planning teams.
  • Utilize data management skills to extract and analyze significant insights from extensive datasets using tools like MS Excel and MS Power BI.
  • Organize and facilitate cross-departmental planning workshops, ensuring effective implementation and follow-up.
  • Maintain the standardized quantity structure for logistics planning within the global Compact Cars production network.
  • Draft resolutions for review by middle and upper management.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in business administration, industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Strong academic performance with a record of extracurricular involvement preferred.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Confident in interactions with management and project partners.
  • Demonstrated independence and initiative in work.
  • Practical experience in automotive projects or supplier industries is advantageous.
  • Open-mindedness and genuine interest in the perspectives of process partners.
  • Willingness to innovate in developing technical solutions and social processes.

Additional Information:

This position is initially offered for a limited duration. Candidates from outside the European Economic Area should provide their residence/work permit.
