Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Network Engineer to join our Global IT Network Team. As an IT Network Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving our global IT Network infrastructure with a focus on Wide Area Network (WAN).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build our SD-WAN based Wide Area Network
  • Create standards and designs, ensuring they are implemented
  • Ensure components are always updated with the latest security patches
  • Work closely with local IT and global partners to manage WAN circuits like MPLS and DIA
  • Collaborate with our Lifecycle and Asset Management Manager to provide a budget plan to keep our infrastructure up to date
  • Manage existing and new incidents and problems in the area of WAN
  • Lead and drive projects related to our Wide Area Network (improvements and changes)
Requirements
  • University degree in computer science or an apprenticeship as an IT specialist with initial work experience
  • Existing VMWare SD-WAN training and/or certificate is advantageous, as well as CCNA or CCNP Level or equivalent
  • Several years of professional experience with International Wide Area Network (WAN)
  • Extensive knowledge of Routing Protocols as well as WAN Protocols and technologies
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization
  • Availability to work off-hours on an as-needed basis
  • Willingness to travel as needed (2-3 times/year)
  • Good English skills, both written and spoken
