At BASF Jobmarkt GmbH, we are committed to making electromobility a reality through our Battery Materials and Recycling team. Our team is passionate about developing and producing high-performance cathode active materials for batteries and closing the loop with our recycling activities to enable a true circular economy in electric vehicle battery production.

As a working student, you will support the team in implementing the Battery Material Responsible Sourcing (BMRS) management system, including supplier questionnaires, data collection, data analysis, and documentation. You will also contribute to the development of our responsible sourcing management process.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in implementing the BMRS management system
  • Contribute to the development of our responsible sourcing management process
  • Assist in the maintenance, collection, categorization, and design of presentations and training materials
  • Support administrative tasks, such as meeting organization and document management
  • Monitor and conduct internal reports on social media, laws, and regulations related to ESG and sustainability

Qualifications:

  • Student of business administration, law, political/social sciences, or sustainability management
  • Interest in gaining initial and further experience in global sustainability management of supply chains
  • Analytical and logical way of thinking, as well as independent, structured, and reliable work style
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, with other languages a plus
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office, especially Teams, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
