In Munich, our IT team is dedicated to designing, developing, and managing advanced applications for the global BMW Sales Parts network. We are committed to delivering cutting-edge IT solutions for BMW Sales Parts Warehouses, addressing the complex requirements of one of the automotive industry's leading warehouse management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and manage mission-critical applications within a feature team.
  • Oversee essential project management processes and documentation to guarantee successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with various teams to influence the evolution of our IT landscape, leveraging SAP S/4 HANA or modifying existing systems based on SAP ERP/EWM.
  • Coordinate IT and vendor resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective projects.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of assigned business processes, functions, roles, and regulations.
  • Work alongside our business department to define logistics warehouse processes and implement them in modern SAP S/4 HANA applications, including SAP EWM, SAP TM, or SAP ERP WM.
  • Engage with enthusiastic BMW teams globally.
  • Participate in a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing to help shape the future of BMW Group IT.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Mathematics with a focus on IT or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in SAP implementation, particularly in warehouse management processes.
  • Familiarity with modern software architecture and agile development methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA EWM and/or WM/TM modules.
  • Preferably, experience with ABAP and debugging capabilities.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional workshops involving IT and business stakeholders.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
