In Munich, our IT team is responsible for designing, developing, and managing cutting-edge applications for the global BMW Sales Parts network. We provide advanced IT solutions tailored for BMW Sales Parts Warehouses, meeting the demanding standards of the automotive industry's best warehouse management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manage critical production applications within a feature team.
- Oversee essential project management processes and documentation to guarantee successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate with various teams to enhance our IT landscape, utilizing SAP S/4 HANA or modifying existing systems based on SAP ERP/EWM.
- Coordinate IT and provider resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective projects.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of assigned business processes, functions, roles, and regulations.
- Work alongside our business units to define logistics warehouse processes and implement them in modern SAP S/4 HANA applications, including SAP EWM, SAP TM, or SAP ERP WM.
- Engage with enthusiastic BMW teams globally.
- Participate in a culture of lifelong learning, fostering continuous knowledge exchange to shape the future of BMW Group IT.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Mathematics with an IT focus, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in SAP implementation, particularly in warehouse management processes.
- Familiarity with modern software architecture and agile development methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA EWM and/or WM/TM modules.
- Preferably, experience with ABAP and debugging capabilities.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional workshops involving IT and business stakeholders.
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
