In Munich, our IT team is responsible for designing, developing, and managing advanced applications for the global BMW Sales Parts network. We deliver cutting-edge IT solutions tailored for BMW Sales Parts Warehouses, addressing the complex demands of one of the most efficient warehouse management systems in the automotive sector.
What you can expect:
- Design, develop, and manage critical production applications within a feature team.
- Oversee essential project management processes and documentation to guarantee successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate with various teams to shape the evolution of our new IT infrastructure based on SAP S/4 HANA or refine existing systems using SAP ERP/EWM.
- Coordinate IT and vendor resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective projects.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the assigned business processes, functions, roles, and regulations.
- Work with our business department to define logistics warehouse processes and implement them in modern SAP S/4 HANA applications, including SAP EWM, SAP TM, or SAP ERP WM.
- Engage with enthusiastic BMW teams globally.
- Participate in an environment that values lifelong learning and continuous knowledge sharing to shape the future of BMW Group IT.
What qualifications are needed?
- A university degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Mathematics with a focus on IT or equivalent experience.
- Several years of experience in SAP implementation related to warehouse management processes.
- Knowledge of modern software architecture and agile software development methodologies.
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4 HANA EWM and/or WM/TM modules.
- Preferably, familiarity with ABAP and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Experience in leading cross-functional workshops involving IT and business stakeholders.
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
