Business Unit Head of Commercial Products
We are seeking a seasoned Business Unit Head to lead our Commercial Products team in ASEAN. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sustainable and profitable growth in product testing, inspection, and certification services across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability
- Lead sales and business development activities to achieve commercial success
- Ensure synergy between Business Lines and Service Lines for the Commercial Products Business Unit
- Manage budgeting, P&L, and sales for the Commercial Products Business Unit in ASEAN
- Conceptualize, develop, and execute business and Go-To-Market strategies
- Align with Global Divisional, Regional, and Local Service Line teams on business strategies
- Identify and respond to business and market trends, opportunities, and customer needs
- Define and optimize the Sales organizational setup
- Collaborate with Service Line Heads and ASEAN GMs to identify local competency gaps
- Establish and strengthen networks in the industry and maintain effective relationships with clients, prospects, and strategic partners
- Oversee talent development and succession planning
- Ensure financial compliance and governance
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of sales management and/or consulting experience in global organisations
- At least 3 years of direct and relevant business development or sales experience at the regional level within a matrix-structured environment
- Team leadership experience
- Technical knowledge of specific industries and products required for the Business Unit
- Experience in working with Third Party Testing, Inspection and Certification companies
- Strong business acumen to address leadership challenges and assumptions
- Skilled in navigating challenges and aligning stakeholders to drive business initiatives and meet customer needs
