As the Category Manager of CS&I (Commercial Strategy and Implementation), you will play a pivotal role in defining the future of the local business within your designated area, focusing on the perspectives of both shoppers and customers. Reporting to the Head of CS&I and BI DACH, you will collaborate across various functions to execute exceptional strategies and meet the market's business objectives.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop Leading CS&I Principles
    • Spearhead the annual brand plans for Oral Health care in the country
    • Manage the commercial deployment plan for local sales teams in partnership with marketing
    • Act as a key collaborator with the Head of CS&I and BI DACH, advocating for external insights and strategies necessary for success in the category
    • Oversee Go To Market strategies, including input for innovation requirements in Oral Health care
    • Assist the Head of CS&I and BI DACH in addressing commercial challenges and opportunities within the Oral Health care sector
    • Adapt centrally developed innovation tools to align with local sales team needs
    • Collaborate with Cluster & Central CS&I teams to influence commercial innovation requirements for Oral Health care
  • Achieve Executional Excellence
    • Direct the execution of Oral Health care innovations and track KPI progress
    • Ensure the delivery and reporting of commercial elements of the Local Oral Health care Success Model
    • Define the Perfect Store strategy tailored to the country, channel, and key customers for Oral Health care
    • Work with Sales & Marketing to successfully implement annual plans for Oral Health care
    • Create local selling tools for each channel
    • Establish and measure Perfect Store & DVRP targets and KPIs for Oral Health care
  • Build Capability & Enable Success
    • Streamline processes and tools for optimal efficiency and impact
    • Actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions
    • Collaborate with Central and Cluster CS&I communities to enhance overall capability
    • Improve customer development excellence by formulating tailored strategies for channels and customers, in close partnership with the Retail Excellence Manager and KAMs

Required Experience

  • Over 7 years of experience in a large FMCG/Consumer Health environment, with a background in leadership
  • Strong preference for significant experience in Shopper & Trade Marketing and Sales
  • Proven history of successful business outcomes in commercial roles
  • Capability to develop and implement effective strategies, processes, and controls, including trade funds management
  • Demonstrated success in managing external relationships and integrating omni-channel strategies
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and German
