Role Overview

As the Head of Advanced Power Packaging Solutions, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology in the semiconductor industry. Your leadership will guide a team of top-tier experts dedicated to pioneering advanced packaging methodologies for power applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the Power Packaging team, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence in research.
  • Technology Development: Spearhead the creation of advanced semiconductor packaging technologies tailored for power applications.
  • Strategic Planning: Establish a comprehensive long-term roadmap and business strategy for advanced packaging technology, informed by internal needs and thorough market analysis.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue business opportunities within various business units, while exploring potential partnerships and customer relationships in the power packaging sector.
  • Process Optimization: Enhance the R&D process for power semiconductor packaging, ensuring quality and adherence to automotive standards.
Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in leading semiconductor firms, with a focus on backend assembly and electronic package development, particularly in power applications.
  • Management Skills: Over 5 years of experience in managing or leading R&D teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Profound understanding of power electronics, semiconductor manufacturing, and electronic package assembly.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and documentation abilities in English, along with proficiency in at least one additional language (German or Chinese).
  • Cultural Competence: Ability to navigate and thrive in a multicultural and geographically diverse engineering environment.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to engage in international business travel.
