Head of Advanced Power Packaging Solutions (m/f/d)

Location: 82362, Weilheim in Oberbayern

  • Oversee a team of top-tier experts in the research and development of cutting-edge packaging technologies for power applications.
  • Drive the advancement of semiconductor packaging technologies tailored for power solutions.
  • Establish a comprehensive long-term strategy and business plan for advanced packaging technology, informed by internal needs and thorough market, trend, and supply-chain analyses.
  • Explore and identify business opportunities within various business units and seek potential partners and clients for power packaging innovations.
  • Enhance the research and development process for power semiconductor packaging, ensuring quality and compliance with automotive standards through structured maturity levels, project milestones, and release checklists.
  • Possess a Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Power Electronics, or related disciplines.
  • Bring over 10 years of experience from leading semiconductor firms, particularly in backend assembly and electronic package development with a focus on power applications.
  • Have more than 5 years of experience in a leadership role, managing R&D teams.
  • Demonstrate a profound understanding of power electronics, the semiconductor industry, and electronic package assembly.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and documentation skills in English, alongside proficiency in at least one additional language (German or Chinese).
  • Show intercultural awareness and adaptability in a diverse engineering environment, effectively navigating changes and uncertainties.
  • Willingness to engage in international business travel or assignments.
  • Engage in responsible tasks and independent work.
  • Participate in corporate networking initiatives.
  • Contribute to team-oriented projects and activities.
