Position Overview

As the Head of Advanced Power Packaging Solutions, you will be at the forefront of innovation in semiconductor packaging technologies tailored for power applications. Your leadership will guide a team of top-tier experts dedicated to research and development in this critical field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Inspire: Oversee the Power Packaging team, fostering an environment of creativity and excellence in advanced packaging research.
  • Technology Development: Spearhead the creation of cutting-edge semiconductor packaging technologies designed specifically for power applications.
  • Strategic Planning: Formulate a comprehensive long-term roadmap and business strategy for advanced packaging technology, leveraging internal insights and external market trends.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue business opportunities within various business units, establishing partnerships and customer relationships for power packaging technologies.
  • Process Optimization: Enhance the R&D process for power semiconductor packaging, ensuring quality and compliance with automotive standards.
Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in leading semiconductor firms, with a focus on backend assembly and electronic package development, particularly in power applications.
  • Leadership Skills: Over 5 years of experience in managing R&D teams, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Profound understanding of power electronics, semiconductor industry dynamics, and electronic package assembly processes.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in at least one additional language (German or Chinese).
  • Cultural Competence: Ability to navigate and thrive in a multicultural engineering environment, showing adaptability to change and uncertainty.
  • Willingness to Travel: Open to international business travel as required.
