Senior Accounting Manager

With extensive knowledge in finance and accounting, you will work alongside your team in the Accounting & Process Advisory sector to assist our national and international clients. As a trusted advisor, you will support our clients with various issues in the accounting and reporting domain, including transitions from local GAAP to IFRS or adapting to new accounting standards.
Your Responsibilities

- Support our clients across various sectors such as Diversified Industries, Automotive, Consumer & Industrial Markets, Communication & Entertainment, Private Equity, and Start-Ups.
- Advise our interdisciplinary teams on the implementation of international accounting standards (IFRS and US GAAP), corporate transactions (e.g., carve-outs), and conversion services.
- Assist in addressing complex issues related to national and international accounting, as well as support clients in preparation for audits (Audit Readiness).
- Actively participate in enforcement procedures.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual and consolidated financial statements.
- Lead teams as a (partial) project manager and serve as the primary contact for clients on-site.
- Assume a supervisory role and manage personnel.
- Engage in various acquisition activities to enhance our client base.
- To become a (Senior) Manager (w/m/d) in Accounting & Reporting Advisory, you should possess a degree in business administration, particularly with a focus on international accounting, auditing, or business informatics. A doctorate or professional examinations are appreciated but not mandatory.
- You should have extensive practical experience in complex accounting and reporting issues and/or corporate reporting, either in consulting or within the finance and accounting departments of companies.
- Experience in leading teams and projects related to international accounting is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in client acquisition is required.
- Strong analytical skills, creativity, communication abilities, and a client-oriented approach are key attributes.
- Fluency in both German and English is expected.
- A willingness to travel is an important aspect of your qualifications.
