Junior Specialist in EV Battery Operations

Your Mission

The primary objective of this position is to enhance customer satisfaction through effective and timely management of orders and transportation, while also improving profit margins through diligent control of purchasing rates.

  • Accurately enter all orders into the Transportation Record.
  • Oversee inland road transportation operations.
  • Compile and maintain an updated list of trucking and shipments, consistently monitoring delivery statuses.
  • Manage costs associated with trucking purchases and sales.
  • Address claims issues, such as damages or losses, with a proactive mindset.
  • Initiate and implement process improvements.
  • Generate precise invoices for clients.
  • Promptly communicate relevant shipping details to customers after order placement.
  • Support customers by addressing concerns and engaging in discussions regarding the shipping and trucking processes.
  • Efficiently resolve operational challenges, providing logistical solutions as needed.
  • Manage special accounts based on related volume and company size.
  • Engage in discussions regarding potential charges and cost reduction strategies.
  • Participate in discussions about processes for special orders.
  • Handle issues smoothly and amicably, ensuring every shipment is managed punctually and accurately.
Your Profile
  • Professional experience in road transportation, with over one year in the freight forwarding sector or a degree in transportation.
  • Preferred background in EV battery logistics.
  • Thorough understanding of the logistics industry, particularly in overland trucking and dangerous goods (DG) cargo.
  • Knowledge of customs procedures and experience in handling EV batteries (ADR1.3/Waste).
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English.
  • Skilled in managing Excel files and monitoring tasks.
  • Competent in MS Suite, focusing on analytical and monitoring capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, thriving in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English, with additional language proficiency being advantageous.
