Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing Energy Solutions division in Büdingen (near Frankfurt am Main) or in a home office from various locations. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Understanding customer technical requirements and supporting the sales department in preparing quotations
  • Accompanying projects and operating phases, including 1st level support, on-site
  • Carrying out technical analyses on the feasibility and viability of BESS storage projects and preparing detailed tender documents
  • Interface between customer, development department, and project planning
  • First point of contact for planners, installation companies, and EPCs
  • Carrying out product training courses and workshops

Requirements:

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering or comparable further training as a technician/master craftsman
  • Several years of experience in project planning and implementation of renewable energy projects would be a plus
  • Teamwork, structured planning, organization, and a sense of responsibility are essential
  • Knowledge/experience in battery technology is an advantage
  • Confident handling of common PC applications (e.g., MS Office)
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 20-30%)
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
