Senior Manager, Application Development

**Position Overview**

As the Senior Manager of the Application Engineering division focused on MCU tools and ecosystems, you will oversee the creation and implementation of innovative evaluation boards and solutions tailored for the automotive MCU series. Your role will involve close collaboration with product marketing teams and board design engineers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Direct a team dedicated to developing cutting-edge automotive solutions for Renesas.
  • Foster collaboration with internal Application Engineers and Product Marketers, as well as external customers and partners.
  • Deliver training on applications to Field Application Engineers, Sales teams, Distributors, and customers.
  • Represent Renesas' technologies, products, and applications at technical seminars.
  • Manage the development and production of both hardware and software solutions.

**Qualifications**

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 12 years of relevant professional experience.
  • In-depth understanding of automotive system technical specifications and the ability to propose optimized products and solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of embedded microcontrollers, development tools, and ecosystems.
  • Strong technical foundation with practical experience in hardware and software development.
  • Proactive in initiating and driving projects to successful completion, with an openness to working in a global environment.
  • Excellent ability to comprehend technical requirements and customer expectations.
  • Proficient understanding of development and manufacturing costs for evaluating optimal system solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; capable of clearly explaining complex subjects.
  • Competent in project management, including planning and milestone tracking.
  • Effective in leading, motivating, and influencing both local and remote teams.
  • Fluent in English and German, with outstanding communication abilities.
  • Results-driven, self-organized, and self-motivated with independent thinking.
