Key Responsibilities:
- As a vital member of our team, you will hold comprehensive accountability for segments of the group-wide investment management.
- You will assist in both operational investment management and strategic, business, or legal matters concerning our domestic and international subsidiaries.
- Your role will involve the establishment or acquisition of both strategic and non-strategic investments, organizing board appointments, and managing mandate support.
- To streamline the investment group structure, you will initiate mergers, liquidations, or divestitures of non-strategic entities as well as properties not utilized for self-use.
- You will independently conduct impairment evaluations and fair value assessments while managing regulatory investment reporting.
- Acting as a key contact for all inquiries related to investment management will be part of your responsibilities.
- You will adeptly manage and independently oversee multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously.
- Additionally, you will prepare (decision-making) documents for boards, executives, the supervisory board, and the management board.
Qualifications:
- A degree in business law or economics with a robust understanding of business and legal principles.
- Professional experience in a comparable role, such as in strategic investment management within a financial services firm or in auditing/transaction advisory or private equity.
- Experience in project management and the development of concepts and presentations.
- Expertise in at least one of the following domains: accounting (IFRS and HGB), corporate law, banking law, or tax law.
- A reliable, communicative, and persuasive individual who possesses analytical thinking, coordination skills, and purposeful action, enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration, and maintains composure in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Fluency in English is required.
