About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Manager to join our team at Project A Ventures. In this role, you will play a critical part in building a global supply chain and taking responsibility for the acquisition, retention, and optimization of the supplier base, product portfolio, and pricing strategies.

As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing new suppliers to support our expansion into new markets and product categories, managing relationships with existing suppliers, and purchasing, contracting, and delivering high-value deals on a weekly basis.

You will also be responsible for optimizing processes across our supply chain to handle significant growth in purchase volume, developing an understanding of pricing trends through market research, and presenting insights to optimize our sales and purchasing strategy.

Your Profile
  • Graduate degree in business economics, supply chain management, (industrial) engineering, business administration, informatics, or a quantitative field
  • Minimum 2 years work experience; experience in Sales, Purchasing, or Supply Chain related functions is preferred
  • Fluency in German and English. Any other language as a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both internally with stakeholders and externally in contracting, negotiating, and conflict management with vendors
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and experienced in RFQ evaluation, forecasting, planning, and risk management

Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
