(Junior) Data Science Engineer

What responsibilities will you undertake?
  • Handling, cleansing, transforming, and interpreting extensive datasets using standard AI models, machine learning algorithms, advanced language models, and various data extraction techniques.

  • Effectively communicating analytical findings to diverse audiences, ranging from business and communication professionals to data analysts and statisticians, through formal presentations, detailed reports, or casual discussions.

  • Enhancing the conventional data science skill set by engaging in the deployment, upkeep, and commercialization of your data science workflows, which will constitute approximately 20% of your responsibilities.
What qualifications should you possess?
  • You are an enthusiastic data scientist with a strong commitment to data integrity and coding standards, holding a degree in a field that emphasizes data and quantitative analysis.

  • You are skilled in the standard Python data science toolkit (e.g., numpy, scipy, sklearn, pandas) and have demonstrated experience or a willingness to learn about traditional and contemporary natural language processing techniques.

  • You have experience or a desire to explore complementary fields such as data engineering, software development, DevOps, MLOps, prompt engineering, and quality assurance/testing.

  • You are eager to acquire new skills, tools, and theories that will broaden your understanding of data science and related areas.

  • Proficiency in Python is essential, and this will be assessed during the interview. Familiarity with SQL, JavaScript, or LookML is advantageous.

  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
