YOUR ROLE

We are in search of a highly talented and driven Machine Learning Engineer to become a vital part of our GFR team. In this role, you will take charge of designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models and algorithms aimed at addressing intricate business challenges. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to gather requirements, preprocess data, construct models, and deploy them in production settings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to comprehend business needs and convert them into technical solutions through machine learning methodologies.
  • Create machine learning models and algorithms, employing techniques such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
  • Process, clean, and analyze extensive datasets to derive significant insights and features for model training.
  • Assess and choose suitable modeling techniques and algorithms to tackle specific challenges.
  • Develop scalable and efficient machine learning workflows for data processing, feature engineering, model training, and deployment.
  • Refine and optimize machine learning models for enhanced performance and accuracy.
  • Implement machine learning models into production systems and monitor their effectiveness in real-world applications.
  • Work in tandem with the DevOps team to guarantee the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of deployed models.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements and trends in machine learning and AI technologies.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline. A Ph.D. is advantageous.
  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a comparable position.
  • Strong command of programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, along with proficiency in libraries/frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Keras, etc.
  • Robust understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and statistical principles.
  • Experience in managing and processing large-scale datasets using SQL, NoSQL, or distributed computing technologies (Spark, Hadoop, etc.).
  • Practical experience in constructing and deploying machine learning models in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with software development practices, version control systems (Git), and agile methodologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and capacity to work in a dynamic, collaborative team setting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of reinforcement learning techniques.
  • Contributions to open-source machine learning projects or publications in relevant conferences/journals.
