Key ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will oversee the daily operations of the CIF Customer Service Section, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, directives, and local policies. Key duties include:
- Reporting any customer-related issues to the chief or manager that may impact daily operations.
- Managing the receipt, storage, inspection, classification, safeguarding, and accountability of Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE) as received from the Property Book Officer.
- Executing issuance, receiving turn-ins, and conducting direct exchange transactions of OCIE with supported customers using the Installation Support Module (ISM) automated property book system.
- Identifying customers scheduled for OCIE transactions through the USAREUR Community Automation System (UCAS) or IN/OUT Processing Installation Support Module (ISM).
- Calculating OCIE requirements based on scheduled individuals, Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), unit assignments, and deployment statuses, and requesting necessary OCIE from the central warehouse.
- Ensuring adherence to established SOPs regarding classification, disposition of equipment, and due-out issue procedures.
- Conducting scheduled and special inventories, investigating discrepancies, and preparing adjustment documents as needed.
- Determining space requirements for new or additional mission needs and performing re-warehousing as necessary.
- Maintaining an automated property book and associated documentation, including voucher files and hand receipts.
- Providing reference support to units regarding supply transaction procedures and assisting with property requests.
Additional duties may be assigned as required.
QualificationsApplicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Education & Training Level I: 2 years of relevant experience plus 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Experience A: Clerical work in an office or store, computer skills, bookkeeping, inventory management, or similar.
- Experience B: Relevant experience in a similar line of work demonstrating the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- German driver's license class B is preferred.
- Proficiency in office automation is required.
- Language proficiency in English and German at level B2 is mandatory.
Employees may occasionally work remotely on a non-routine basis. The role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
