Road Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Road Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Vilseck, Germany. As a key member of our road maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our roads and highways.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in road maintenance, with experience in preparing sub-surfaces, repairing and maintaining pavement, and operating heavy equipment. You will work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare sub-surfaces for new pavement installation, including breaking old pavement and applying proper materials
- Operate compressed air hammers, hand tools, and heavy equipment such as concrete mixing and tar-heating machines
- Repair and maintain road drainage systems, remove obstructions, and perform other duties as assigned
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A-5: Completed vocational training of at least 30 months in the appropriate trade OR 5 years of specialized experience
- A-6: Completed vocational training in the appropriate trade PLUS 2 years experience at a level of difficulty comparable to the Wage Group 5 or equivalent, or 8 years of specialized experience with 3 years performed at the wage group 5 or equivalent level
- German driver's license class BE
- Language proficiency level B2 in German

$45,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
