Job Title: Construction Manager

At Digital Realty, we are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects related to data centre facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Lead and mentor construction team members, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project continuity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in data centres.
  • Strong background in project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experience in managing construction projects, including design, procurement, and construction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English (C1 or C2 level of CEFR).
  • Good German language skills (B2 level of CEFR).
