Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Digital Realty. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects related to data centre facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all construction projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
  • Cost Management: Manage project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and negotiate best pricing with suppliers and contractors.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of construction professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, partnership, and teamwork within the construction team.
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in construction project management, preferably in data centres.
  • Strong background in project management methodologies.
  • Experience in managing construction projects, including data centre construction.
  • Experience in a European multi-cultural environment.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English (C1 or C2 level of CEFR).
  • Good German language skills (B2 level of CEFR).
