About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Head-of Technical Project Management to lead our Strategy Projects Tech & Core Enabling Team at ABOUT YOU.

The Strategy Projects Tech Team is responsible for steering our most important strategic initiatives across our full system landscape, ensuring efficient and smooth cross-system solutions to enable our commerce business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Steer key strategic initiatives across our system landscape in close collaboration with application teams
  • Manage a team of 3 project managers and collaborate closely with business stakeholders driving projects from the business side
  • Report directly to our VP level and prepare MD decisions
  • Challenge business requirements to minimize technical complexity while maintaining business value
  • Plan the right time and capacity for our projects and resolve blockers and dependencies
Requirements
  • Completed studies in business informatics or a comparable course of study
  • Minimum 3-5 years of practical experience in tech project management
  • Deep understanding of business and tech processes
  • Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, and quality, along with risk and critical path management
  • Practical experience of working directly with engineering teams
  • Analytical, data-driven, and efficiency-focused approach
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
