Logistics Operations Manager

As a key member of our team at SYNCREON, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our inbound and outbound departments. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely delivery of customer goods, while maintaining a high level of efficiency and productivity.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage personnel and resources in the inbound and outbound departments
  • Plan and control work distribution and employee briefings
  • Act as a liaison between customers and employees or temporary workers
  • Coordinate forklift truck planning and scheduling
  • Ensure timely processing of orders, including safe and complete handling of incoming and outgoing goods
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and customer requirements
  • Process prioritized shipments and customer orders, and hand them over to employees for loading and/or storage
  • Manage stock transfers and updates in the warehouse management system
  • Report and document damages and claims, and assist in claim and damage handling
  • Develop and maintain process descriptions and work instructions for the specialist department

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or technical training as a master craftsman, or a degree in business administration or industrial engineering, preferably in logistics and/or supply chain management
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in logistics or freight forwarding, and 3-5 years of management experience
  • Fluency in German and a good command of written and spoken English
