About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to support our financial management operations in Germany and international offices. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of financial data, managing general cost bookings, and providing timely and valuable information to business management.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management:

  • Manage and review general cost bookings to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Determine, book, and allocate shared costs to various departments and international offices.

Financial Analysis:

  • Verify trade-related incoming and outgoing invoices for our offices in Germany and international locations.
  • Assess and validate sales and cost accruals for both German and international offices.
  • Review and manage claim accruals effectively.
  • Examine and ensure the accuracy of sales and cost contracts.

Internal Control and Audit:

  • Prepare and conduct comprehensive internal control audits.

Monthly Closing:

  • Manage monthly closing tasks, including foreign exchange (F/X) and royalty calculations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support the enhancement of accounting processes in Germany and international offices.
  • Assist and collaborate with the IT department on various projects.
  • Provide requested documentation to HQ and support multiple departments as required.
  • Ensure correct booking and verification of general costs and sales.
  • Maintain the accuracy and precision of financial overviews.
  • Provide timely and valuable information to business management during monthly closings.
  • Deliver accurate information to support informed business decisions.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist with a strong background in accounting, legal knowledge, and excellent communication skills. You should have a completed apprenticeship or studies in accounting, a minimum of 3 years of work experience in accounting, and knowledge of SAP and other accounting software.
