Personnel Clerk in Medical Administration

Job Overview

Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf is a leading medical institution dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, advancing research, and fostering education. We are currently seeking two Personnel Clerks to enhance our Payroll Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee data management in SAP for salary processing, wage components, and irregular payments.
  • Evaluate and analyze additional services to ensure adherence to tariff and legal standards.
  • Identify characteristics and eligibility criteria for various wage components.
  • Confirm entitlements for overtime compensation and shift differentials.
  • Conduct payroll reviews for accuracy and initiate recovery processes for overpayments or unauthorized benefits.
  • Address inquiries from employees through various communication channels.
  • Assist with requests, complaints, and inquiries, including those from external authorities and insurance entities.
  • Interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements and legal regulations in employee-related matters.
  • Coordinate vacation quotas with different departments.
  • Manage legal wage garnishments as required.
Qualifications
  • Completed training as a specialist in healthcare management or a comparable commercial qualification.
  • Preferred knowledge of collective agreements, labor laws, and social security regulations.
  • Strong commitment and empathy towards employee-related issues.
  • Experience in customer service, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in SAP-HR and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
