S/4HANA Finance Project Manager

Position Overview
The PMO Consultant is integral to the S/4HANA Finance Transformation initiative, steering the project towards successful outcomes by managing its intricacies and ensuring alignment with the overarching strategic objectives of the transformation.

  • Project Management and Oversight: Guarantee timely delivery of the project within budget constraints while satisfying all stakeholders. This entails driving essential project processes, ensuring transparency, and coordinating with diverse stakeholders to manage the project backlog and implementation phases.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the steering committee and joint business/IT project leadership to formulate a business transformation strategy that resonates with the company's strategic vision.
  • Value and Impact Focus: Establish a content and value-driven transformation office that fosters significant organizational impact. This includes effectively scoping the program to concentrate on high-value areas while steering clear of low-value customizations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Facilitate comprehensive reviews and decision-making meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between the program team and external partners. Regularly update stakeholders and senior management on project advancements.
  • Risk and Compliance Management: Identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices.
  • Change Management: Spearhead change management initiatives, ensuring timely alignment with key decision-makers to secure organization-wide support. Articulate the key benefits of the S/4HANA transformation in each Rollout Wave.

Qualifications

  • Experience: A proven track record (3-5 years) in project management, particularly in overseeing large-scale ERP or finance transformation projects. Experience with S/4HANA implementations is highly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of S/4HANA Finance and core business processes. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities. Proficient in collaborating effectively within a team environment and engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships. Capable of driving project agendas and making strategic decisions.
  • Languages: Proficient command of English (both written and spoken).
  • Living Experience: Experience living in Europe and working in a European-based organization.
