Position Overview
The PMO Consultant for the S/4HANA Finance Transformation initiative is essential in steering the project towards successful outcomes by managing its intricacies and ensuring alignment with the overarching strategic objectives of the transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management and Oversight: Guarantee timely delivery of the project within budget constraints while satisfying all stakeholders. This includes facilitating critical project processes, ensuring transparency, and coordinating with diverse stakeholders to manage the project backlog and execution phases.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the steering committee and joint business/IT project leadership to formulate a business transformation strategy that aligns with the organization's strategic vision.
  • Value and Impact Focus: Establish a content and value-driven transformation office that fosters significant organizational impact. This involves effectively scoping the program to concentrate on high-value areas while avoiding low-value customizations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Conduct thorough reviews and decision-making meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between the program team and external partners. Regularly inform stakeholders and senior management about project progress.
  • Risk and Compliance Management: Identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices.
  • Change Management: Spearhead change management initiatives, ensuring timely alignment with key decision-makers to secure organization-wide support. Ensure that change management in each Rollout Wave effectively communicates the key benefits of the S/4HANA transformation.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience (3-5 years) in project management, ideally with a focus on large-scale ERP or finance transformation projects. Experience with S/4HANA implementations is highly advantageous.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of S/4HANA Finance and core business processes. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities. Capacity to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership: Proficient in leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships. Ability to drive project agendas and make strategic decisions.
  • Languages: Proficient command of English (both written and spoken).
  • Living Experience: Experience living in Europe and working within a European-based organization.
