Position Overview:

We are seeking a Lead Business Development Strategist to join our dynamic team at Vality One Recruitment GmbH. This role is pivotal in driving growth and establishing strong partnerships within the biopharmaceutical sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and secure new project opportunities.
  • Proactively seek potential clients and collaborators for biotechnological contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) initiatives.
  • Develop and nurture a robust network of industry contacts.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to uncover business prospects.
  • Prepare project proposals and develop tailored offers.
  • Customize contracts and proposals for production initiatives.
  • Advise clients on optimal production capabilities and options.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to formulate competitive offers.
  • Manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Enhance and maintain relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and adherence to client requirements.
  • Conduct regular visits, meetings, and presentations for clients.
  • Represent the company at industry events and maintain a strong market presence.
  • Participate in industry conferences to promote the company.
  • Build and uphold a positive corporate image within the sector.
  • Identify emerging market trends, innovative technologies, and potential partnership opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Business Development within a CDMO/CMO context, ideally in the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Familiarity with vaccine production processes and relevant regulatory standards.
  • Fluency in English (C1/C2 level) and proficiency in German (B2 level).
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new clients and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
