About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Transactions & Integrations practice team in Munich. As a Working Student, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our analysts and experts on a day-to-day basis, taking on responsibilities that drive your own ideas and contribute to the success of our business.
This is a temporary role that offers flexibility to combine personal, academic, and professional life. You will be required to work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters and up to 40 hours/week during your vacation time. To be eligible, you must be an enrolled university student in Germany.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support business development efforts and internal projects by providing research and analysis
  • Monitor European-wide deal activity to stay informed on potential opportunities
  • Conduct research tasks, including financial and deal databases, and company research
  • Assist the analyst team with financial analysis and financial modeling tasks
  • Organize events and meetings, and provide administrative support to the team
Requirements
  • Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's studies in business administration, financial mathematics, economics, or a related field
  • Interest in corporate finance, M&A, post-merger integration, and strategy topics
  • Previous experience in corporate finance, M&A, private equity, or a related field is a plus
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience in financial and/or deal databases a plus
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with German a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a reliable and service-oriented approach
