Overview of the Position

The Strategic Global Account Executive will collaborate closely with the Global Key Account Director to cultivate and oversee a robust partnership with a prominent German Tier 1 client. This role is essential in achieving the highest level of client satisfaction while optimizing sales and profitability. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work remotely from Southern Germany or from our Munich office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies aimed at maximizing sales and profitability for your designated account. Assume responsibility for relevant KPIs and initiate corrective measures as necessary.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the client's business strategy, opportunities, and challenges. Identify prospects for Nexperia and assist in customizing the Nexperia Value Propositions to meet client needs.
  • Navigate the formal and informal organizational structures to identify decision-makers and establish effective relationship strategies that enhance Nexperia's standing with the account.
  • Leverage insights into power dynamics and relationships to devise and execute effective negotiation strategies and tactics in collaboration with the Global Key Account Director and Marketing Teams.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring that priorities are aligned to execute the strategic plan effectively.
  • Monitor logistics and quality performance, delegating issues to relevant stakeholders within the organization as needed.
  • Ensure that all key internal systems and processes are updated promptly with accurate information.
  • Compile a comprehensive Customer Business Plan that clearly communicates expectations and requirements to achieve business objectives.
  • Collect and relay market and competitor intelligence within the organization.
  • Organize technical workshops with clients and facilitate internal Business Review Meetings throughout the year.

Required Qualifications

  • A university degree, preferably in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of Sales or Marketing experience in the Automotive sector, particularly with Tier 1 accounts, or equivalent experience as a Field Application Engineer in the semiconductor industry or a related field.
  • A solid technical understanding of Automotive applications is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in promoting standard and commodity products.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, results-driven, and customer-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both German and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
  • A demonstrated history of working effectively in multicultural and international teams.
  • Willingness to travel frequently as required.
