About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving financial planning, analysis, and decision-making to support the growth and expansion of our logistics business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions and drive cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, automation, and standardization opportunities.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business growth and expansion initiatives.
  • Own and manage financial planning and reporting processes, including month-end procedures and variance analysis.
  • Proactively identify and address financial and operational risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, planning, and modeling, with a focus on logistics or supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with financial systems, data mining, and reporting tools, such as SQL, MS Access, and Cognos.
