Strategic Development Specialist - Water Treatment/Environmental Solutions (m/w/d)
Accountable for the comprehensive advancement of the customer segment focused on Environmental Technologies within the domains of water and air management (Municipal wastewater, Industrial wastewater, Emission control, Solvent recovery, etc.)
- Oversees the assessment of client needs, formulation of specifications, and development of tailored solutions in partnership with Euro Holding and the parent organization in Japan.
- Guides and facilitates the market launch, operational execution, and technological innovation of solutions in the water treatment and emission control sectors, potentially in collaboration with industry partners and research entities.
- Identifies and qualifies potential leads through systematic acquisition strategies (campaigns, etc.) targeting projects within relevant sectors.
- Crafts specific client solutions and formulates commercial proposals.
- Prepares and finalizes contracts with clients.
- Coordinates testing, demonstrations, implementation, and commissioning processes.
- Gathers and analyzes information regarding technology, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Provides ongoing support to clients following the successful implementation of new processes.
- Actively engages in relevant associations, committees, and interest groups.
Qualifications
- Completed degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, natural sciences, process engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive professional experience in plant engineering, project management, and independent project oversight, particularly in industrial water treatment or pollution control.
- Proven experience in both digital and traditional sales of complex technological solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise in market and business development within a B2B context.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge (Application of gases).
- Proficient in English.
- Familiarity with MS-Office and CRM systems (Dynamics 365).
- Desirable: Knowledge of SAP.
- Strong communication and assertiveness skills.
- Excellent negotiation capabilities.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and goal-driven work ethic.
- Valid driving license.
- Willingness to travel as required.
